Keimyung University's Students voluntarily raised money for COVID-19
- About 30 senior members of Keimyung University's student council collected USD 1,244 to deliver the donation.
- Students from College of Fine Arts collected USD 663 to deliver the donation
- Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters of Good Neighbors and Department of Social Welfare implement a fund-raising campaign
 
  Voluntary donations are being made for medical staff who make efforts on treating COVID-19 patients.
 
  On March 9(Mon), about 30 senior members of Keimyung University's student council collected USD 1,244 and delivered it to Keimyung University Daegu Dongsan Hospital, a COVID-19 regional hub hospital.
 
  On March 11(Wed), Students from College of Fine Arts also donated USD 663 to Keimyung University Daegu Dongsan Hospital.

  In addition, students from Department of Social Welfare hold a fund-raising campaign in cooperation with Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters of Good Neighbors. Students planned fundraising activities to support medical staff in the face of a shortage of medical supplies such as masks and protection clothing. The campaign began from March 11(Wed) to 17(Tue).
 
  Mr. Hyeongdong Son, president of Keimyung University's student council, said as opening of the class has been postponed due to COVID-19 and many students are facing hard time. But, the medical staff are really suffered more than us. I would also like to add small supports to those who are dedicated to the serve.
 
  Mr. Hyeongdae Jeong, president of the student council of College of Fine Arts, said I was touched to see the medical staff reported by the media. Then, I want to support the medical staff who are struggling more than anyone else at this time.
 
  Keimyung University Daegu Dongsan Hospital was designated as a COVID-19 regional hub hospital on February 21 (Fri) and operates a 24-hour emergency system. And, the entire hospital was operated for COVID-19 patients only. The prolonged situation has led to medical service in various cities, and a wave of the support has been continued including donations and relief supplies.
