The Special Lecture by the former Minister of Unification was held in the College of Social Science building at 1:30 p.m. on October 30. Ryu Gil-jae, the former Minister of Unification, talked about the reasons for unification.
He explained that we are the same race and we cultivated a long history before the war. He also said that we should prepare for and overcome the difficulties that unification will cause. In addition, he said that we should meet, talk and cooperate with North Korea to reconcile our differences. His lecture awakened in us the necessity of unification and the divided nature of the Korean Peninsula.
