The 254th CEO Forum was held at KMU’s College of Business Administration on September 11. The lecturer was Kim Seon-il who is the head of the Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Center. The theme of the lecture was “Creative economy with open type innovation.”
Today, unemployment is increasing while the population ages and the birth rate remains low. Therefore, Mr. Kim said, we need to use the creative economy to solve this problem.
He also explained the differences between creative economy policies of other countries and creative economy policies of Korea. In addition, he explained open type innovation.
Open type innovation means corporations can promote industrialization and development of technology by using their ideas and other external ideas. And finally, he talked about global future trends, stressing the importance of the creative economy.
