KMU hosted the 12th Keimyung University National Taekwondo Poomsae Championships for three days in the university gym from May 8 to May 10.
It was held by KMU, the Korea Taekwondo Association and Korea Taekwondo Center.
The opening ceremony was held on May 9,and the competition began after the KMU Taekwondo demonstration team performed.
There were 2,454 participants in the contest, which was divided into an individual competition, a group competition and a team competition.Dowongyeuleui Studio won the elementary school division, SeomoonIT won the high school division and Korea National Sport University won the college division in the team competition.
President Synn Ilhi said, "This competition is meaningful in that people of different ages participated."
