On February 19th, ‘A Successful Case of Using FTA (Free Trade Agreement) Competitive Exhibition’ was held in Seoul COEX. This competition was held by Korea Customs Service. This competition was held for developing fresh ideas and raising interest about FTA.
Keimyung University students got first place in the field of scenario and UCC video and they got a certificate of award and a prize of two million won. Student Jang Gwang-yeol who was awarded for the part of scenario said "I would like to inform people that FTA is not difficult or problematic. And if people use the FTA system, there are big benefits for companies. But if they don’t use it, a company's competitiveness will drop greatly.
Keimyung University signed a partnership agreement to prepare for the FTA era with Daegu-Gyeongbuk Main Customs. Plus they are planning to hold an open lecture about FTA to develop people’s proficiency in FTA policy and give them some experience with it.
