Virtual MOU Signing Ceremony with Thuyloi University, Vietnam

- Keimyung University concluded Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with Thuyloi University in Vietnam through Virtual Conference on October 22nd(Thu) at 15:30
- Discussed Double Degree Program in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, and Automotive Systems Engineering
 

   Keimyung University (President, Prof. Synn Ilhi) concluded Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with Thuyloi University in Vietnam (President, Prof. Trinh Minh Thu)
 
  MOU Signing Ceremony was held through live virtual system on October 22nd(Thu) at 15:30 due to COVID-19 outbreak. The persons concerned – Prof. Synn Ilhi, President of Keimyung University, Dr. Kim Seonjung, Dean of International Office, Dr. Shin Jinkyo, Dean of College of Business Administration, Dr. Kim Wonjin, Dean of College of Engineering and Thuyloi University’s, Prof. Trinh Minh Thu, President, Dr. Tran Khac Thac, Deputy Head of Academic Department, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Minh, Deputy Head of Political and Student Affairs Department, Dr. Doan Yen The, Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Do Van Quang Dean of Faculty of Economics and Management – connected to the system and signed the agreement after mutual greetings and discussion.


  Through this MOU, both universities agree with exchange of faculty members, joint research activities, seminars and academic meetings, exchange of academic materials and other information, short-term academic programs, staff development projects, promote teaching and learning programs. In addition to this, Keimyung University has discussed double degree program in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, and Automotive Systems Engineering with Thuyloi University that field of study is verified excellently, which is based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

  Prof. Trinh Minh Thu, President of Thuyloi University said, “For academic exchange and educating global talents, we try to do our best with international partners. In particular, through this MOU, I hope this first step will not only complements strength and weakness of both universities, but also promote relationship between two countries.”

  “Today’s Meeting is meaningful as it is the first MOU signing ceremony through virtual system after the pandemic. We are delighted to conclude MOU with a university in Vietnam where it is our friend country, especially. Furthermore, even though COVID-19 strikes all over the world, once again I felt mankind can escape current crisis by education, research, and exchange among countries and universities.” Prof. Synn Ilhi, President of Keimyung University replied.

  Meanwhile, Thuyloi University in Vietnam is public university founded in 1959, which has 4 campuses in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Hung Yên, and Ninh Thuân. It specializes in the field of engineering such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering. Currently, Thuyloi University interacts with 80 universities in 23 countries, and makes efforts on educating global talents through the double degree program with universities from United States of America and the Republic of Korea.
