The KCG (Keimyung Consulting Group) team composed of Keimyung University students was recently awarded second prize in the third Gyeongbuk PRIDE Commodity Marketing Competition organized by Gyeongsangbuk-Do.
This competition is intended for domestic and foreign undergraduate or postgraduate students. The final awarded students were chosen through project evaluation and a presentation competition. The participants proposed four topics such as “Marketing plans of Gyeongbuk PRIDE commodity firms for India.”
Among 8 teams, the KCG team advanced to the final. They suggested suitable marketing strategies and business models. KCG finally got second prize in the nationwide undergraduates’ competition.
Jang Byung-mok, the team leader majoring in food service and technology, said, “Under the assumption that the firm encourages real business, we tried to find feasible business models.”
