PROJECT DEVELOPMENT IN BUSINESS

  1. Course Description
    본 과목은 학생들로 하여금 프로 경영과 세무지식을 가지고 프로젝트 기획과 개발에 응용할 수 있는 기초적인 지식과 기술들을 제공하는 것을 교육목적으로 한다. 강의 내용은 기업의 경영 및 세무지식을 기초로 기업 내 프로젝트의 개념, 프로젝트 계획 및 개발에 관한 단계 기술 및 경영주기와 관련한 검토 등을 포함한다.
  2. Course Objectives
    This course hopes to achieve the following objectives: 1. To provide the students with the basic knowledge and skills on how projects related business and entrepreneurship are conceived and developed which will put emphasis on Project feasibility studies, project appraisals, negotiation and approval, until project implementation, monitoring and evaluation. 2. To provide the students with the opportunities to conceptualize and develop projects on their own which are related to business or entrepreneurship as a practical way of reinforcing their theoretical knowledge or background on project development.
  3. Teachnig Method
    Classroom Rules: 1. Coverage of Midterm Examinations Midterm examinations will cover the topics and lectures from the start of the classes until the last lecture prior to the scheduled midterm examination. 2. Simple Business project Proposal/Business Plan The student will be required to prepare and present before the class a Simple Project study or a project proposal about a business or an enterprise. This will be submitted on or before the scheduled final examinations. This requirement is in lieu of the final examinations. 3. Oral Reports and presentations During the regular class sessions, there will some oral presentations/reports that are related to every topic being discussed, specifically on the major aspects of the Project Feasibility study preparation. 4. Attendance Significant time is allotted for discussion, and active learning. Therefore each student is encouraged to attend classes regularly to maximize the benefits of learning in this course.

    Npo prerequisite for this course, any student from the College of Business Administration can enroll in this class for as long as they have a background in English communication ( both written and oral), as the entire class will use English as the medium of instruction.
  7. Practical application of the course
    This course is practically useful to the students who will enroll in this class for they will be afforded with basic knowledge and skills on how to prepare project feasibility studies.
