INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

이 과목은 디지털 전자기기, 컴퓨터, 커뮤니케이션 테크놀로지의 원리와 실질적인 응용을 이해하는데 목적을 둔다. 과목의 주제는 LINUX 기본운영체제와 도구, 커뮤니케이션 프로토콜, 인터넷 네트워킹, IoT, RFID 시스템 등이다. 이러한 기술들을 이용한 융합적 시스템 구조에 관한 사례들을 배운다. 아울러 이러한 주제들의 개념을 정보학 측면에서 이해하고 특히 차세대디지털도서관의 적용 이슈들에 대해서 생각해본다. 학습자들은 프레젠테이션을 통해서 개인의 관심 있는 주제를 더 깊이 탐구하고 발표한다. 이 과목을 수료함으로서 ICT의 다양한 측면에 익숙해 지고 현대 정보 전문가가 정보학의 관점에서 사람들이 정보를 찾고 얻는 방법에 영향을 미치는 광범위한 기술을 배우고 익힌다.

At the end of this course, students should become familiar with various aspects of ICT. From the perspectives of information science, modern information professionals need to be familiar with a wide range of technologies that influence how people seek and obtain information. The aims of this course is to have students to develop: • ICT-based solutions to solve real world problems • skills to assess ICT products for a variety of settings • skills to assess the impact of ICT on human behavior • knowledge of various emerging ICT

There are no prerequisites for this course.

This course aids students to gain foundational knowledge and skills related to ICT. By taking this course, students can be be prepared to take upper level IT classes.
