- Course Description
During the seminar we discuss basic sociological texts and go through the history of sociological imagination. Using the most important texts from key thinkers, students will critically look at the history of thinking about society.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Understand the work and development of classical sociological perspectives;
2. Assess key readings and related the arguments to classical theories and concepts;
3. Distinguish different schools of thoughts which have shaped the discipline of sociology;
4. Explain human society, social structure and relationship with key sociological theories and concepts.
