  1. Course Description
    An applied calculus course covering limits, continuity, differentiation, and integration with emphasis on business and social science applications. The course is designed to provide students with a sound, practical understanding of the basic concepts and results of differential and integral calculus without sacrificing mathematical accuracy. Most concepts and results are approached from an applied viewpoint.
  2. Course Objectives
    The objective is to answer the two questions above.
  3. Teachnig Method
    1. At the beginning of each class I will check attendance. 2. If you arrive to the classroom later than 15 minutes after the class begins, please do not enter the classroom. 3. Please do not walk in and out during the class time 4. Telephone call and SMS are strictly prohibited. In case of emergency, you can just ask my permission to do so outside. 5. If you miss a class, please take your responsibility in acquire materials and catch up with your friends. Certainly, you can visit my office to ask for clarifications.

    The class schedule is very tentative. The pace of the class depends on many factors. Please keep this in mind.
  7. Practical application of the course
    The course is a practical course in nature. Most of the contents that you learn are realistically used to understand situations in Social Sciences, Economics and Business. As we practice the problem sets together, you will understand clearly of this matter.
