- Course Description
데이터베이스 디자인은 데이터 저장을 위한 설계 및 이용자, 시스템 관리, 데이터 간 관계를 나타내고 있다. 이 과목은 데이터베이스의 기본 개념과 이론을 이해하고 데이터베이스 디자인 원리를 학습하는데 목적을 둔다. 수업과정에서 MySQL과 MS Access는 관계형 데이터베이스 디자인 개념을 학습하는 도구로 활용된다. 데이터베이스 설계 문제는 분석, 분류, 시각화, 마이닝, 표현 및 구성과 같은 기타 관련 문제를 다룬다. 그밖에 데이터베이스를 정보 관리하고 큐레이트 하는 관점에서 전반적인 정보 모델 이슈들을 검토한다.
- Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to introduce students with the fundamental issues of database design. At the end of the course, students should become familiar with principles, database design issues, and techniques for developing and maintaining modern database applications.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to noly only understand some of modern database technology, but also
able to develop database application programs using MySQL.
