- Course Description
형사사법학 개론은 범죄학, 경찰학, 법학 등 형사사법학과 관련된 주요 내용을 강의하기 위한 교과목이다. 형사사법학 개론에서는 형사사법 시스템의 구조를 설명하고 주요 형사사법기관의 기능과 조직을 학습하기 위한 교과목이다. 형사사법학 개론을 통해 경찰행정학과 전공자들이 형사사법에 대한 이해를 도모하고 전공능력을 향상하기 위한 것이다.
- Course Objectives
This course is designed to provide an understanding of the Criminal Justice System in order that citizens and practitioners within the system have realistic expectations, are prepared to contribute in an appropriate fashion with a view toward meeting the needs of both society and the system, and are able to predict, anticipate, and understand possible and actual outcomes of the system in a dispassionate manner.

Attend class and do the reading. Participate in discussions. Score well on exams. And complete ongoing case analysis projects.

Grades will be based 20% upon Attendance/Participation; 20% upon Project Completion (Profiling a Crime Scene/Criminal); and 30% each upon Midterm and Final Exam Scores. Attendance will be noted by the Automated Attendance Program app provided by KMU to students and faculty for that purpose.
