INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS STRATEGY

  1. Course Description
    기업의 국제화 과정에서 대두되는 해외시장진입전략(Foreign Market Entry Mode)과 세계화(Globalisation) 전략, 상이한 문화권에서 수행되는 글로벌 경영의 계획 수립과 전략개발, 그리고 글로벌 경영의 성공적 관리를 위한 기초적 지식과 다양한 사례연구 등의 주제를 학습한다.
  2. Course Objectives
    At the end of semester, the student will be able to: - Articulate the importance of studying IBS - Outline the fundamentals of IBS - Analyze an industry competition and its framework - Appreciate the underpinning strategic roles of institutions, cultures and ethics - Gain insights on market and product diversification - Participate and draw strategic action plan for international business - Show understanding on the contributions of world business events for the practice of international management
  3. Teachnig Method
    The Keimyung university academic and ethical policy will govern the entire classroom management particularly with attendance, requirements submissions, dishonesty, integrity and competitive educational advancement. Students are encouraged to attend a scheduled academic counselling at least 5% of total semesters attendance for academic related matters, building rapport and for follow up query. However students are welcome to come in Professors office for further information.

    Projects are the case studies and portfolio of the students. Students will be evaluated based on the output their are going to present on each meetings.

    This subject is very useful for individuals who would like to venture in international business. Advancement on policies, management strategies in different levels and practical skills of entrepreneurship are very much relevant to compete in international business arena. The subject is much beneficial on proper handling of company resources while engaging in international market. Probable knowledge to be learned from the world renowned business tycoons will contribute on students critical thinking skills particularly in decision making.
