NEGOTIATIONS & CONFLICT RESOLUTION

  1. Course Description
    Students will learn international negotiations and conflict managements which are important in the contemporary world. This course will deal with the basic theories of negotiation and case studies; conflicts in trade, finance, security, political and other issues. Specifically, students will examine the roots of conflict between nations and study the mechanisms through which global conflicts are resolved.

    Improve students' negotiation skills.
  3. Teachnig Method
    Students are expected to be on time for class and be prepared to engage in class discussions and activities. Students who are not on time for class without excuse shall be marked absent. Twice late equals one absence. One unexcused absence from class will result in a half grade demerit (e.g., A+ to A0). Students who are unprepared, sleeping or speaking any language other than English, will be marked absent. Students are also required to visit the Professor at least once during the semester for consultation.
