Students will have 1 point deducted from their final score each time they use cell phones, leave class without explanation, apply make-up, use phone cameras to take pictures of information written on the board, or show general disrespect during class time. Texts: Students must purchase the assigned textbook. Required texts, notebook, and pencil / pen must be brought to every class. All supplementary materials must be kept in a binder or folder and stored for future reference. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Plagiarism and Cheating: Plagiarism is presenting the ideas or words of another person as your own. This class has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on cheating. Students who steal the work of others and attempt to pass it off as their own in a presentation will immediately receive a failing grade for that assignment.
