  2. Course Objectives
    By the end of the course, students should be able to identify the basic tenets of Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism. They should be able to identify and explain the contributions of these religions to civilizations. They should be able to describe and explain the conflicts that exist between these religions and contemporary societies.
  3. Teachnig Method
    The full participation and attention of students is expected in every class. So NO sleeping, eating, or texting in class. Students should also refrain from talking when the professor is lecturing and from doing homework for other classes.

    Exams: based mostly on PPTs; mostly multiple choice questions; a few short answer questions; some definitions. Assigments(s): short reading (s) with some questions Attendance: includes participation in in-class exercises
  6. Requiments
    None. A course on Christianity or on the world religions would be helpful.
  7. Practical application of the course
    * Improvement in English communication skills (listening, reading, writing). * Small group cooperation
