MACROECONOMICS

  1. Course Description
    Students will deal with the issues of growth, inflation and unemployment, and with national economic policies relating to these issues, and the effects of government actions (such as changing taxation levels) on them.
  2. Course Objectives
    As mention above, my intention is to introduce you to analytical approach in Economics, as well as analytical tools that you can use to understand and predict the behavior of agents in the economy.
  3. Teachnig Method
    1. At the beginning of each class I will check attendance.
    2. If you arrive to the classroom later than 15 minutes after the class begins, please do not enter the classroom.
    3. Please do not walk in and out during the class time
    4. Telephone call and SMS are strictly prohibited. In case of emergency, you can just ask my permission to do so outside.
    5. If you miss a class, please take your responsibility in acquire materials and catch up with your friends. Certainly, you can visit my office to ask for clarifications.

    1.The class schedule is very tentative. The pace of the class depends on many factors. Please keep this in mind.
    2. We will cover AT LEAST, until Output, Interest Rate, and the Exchange Rate (Chapter 20). If time permits, we will cover the rest.
