No notebook and pen = absent. 7. This is not a Hagwon and you are all adults. You WILL behave like adults, and be responsible. 6. Requiments
Students will bring all class materials (This is not optional, apologizing and complaints will not be accepted. No materials = NO GRADE. Also, students are to behave like adults. This is not High school and this is not a hagwon. You are all ADULTS, and you will be treated like ADULTS. Coming to class late, losing materials, not participation, handing in assignments late, will result in bad grades. Get a note book, get the textbook, get a pen and BRING THEM TO CLASS. Students should also take notes, because this is a grammar intense course, and failure to take notes could affect your grade. This is your responsibility. Being absent too many times = failure, and being late too much will also hurt your grade. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are absent for sickness, I do NOT accept notes unless they are in English. THE TEACHER DOES NOT GIVE A GRADE, THE STUDENT EARNS THEIR GRADE.
  7. Practical application of the course
As English is now the common language used around the world in business, engineering, or other communication requirements situations between different groups of nationalities, this course should prove beneficial in both professional and leisure activities, whether the student needs to communicate with a foreign business partner or just order a meal in a restaurant. The student should also feel more comfortable using English or dealing with foreigners after completing this course.
