COMMUNICATION ENGLISH Ⅲ

  1. Course Description
This program is designed to give students the confidence and ability to communicate in everyday English conversations. This program focuses on practical daily conversation. In this class we will approach language learning through presentation, reinforcement, and expansion of communication forms and structures that promote the gradual but secure development of the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills gained in previous classes.
  2. Course Objectives
This course is designed to challenge students. We hope to challenge your ideas of communication, successful communication strategies, your own skills, and more. The tasks we will encounter are – it is hoped – designed to allow you to evolve and cultivate new strategies, skills, and insights into how messages, ideas, and emotions are shared and received. Ultimately, students will emerge with a new outlook on sharing ideas & emotions with others. In order to achieve these goals, students need to be energetic, open-minded, and responsible. In relation to Communication Skills I, this course aims to give students greater confidence, experience, and wisdom to work without teacher guidance. The focus for tasks is to work independently and creatively, with students forming their own plans, directing their work, and so on.
