  1. Course Description
    This program is designed to give students the confidence and ability to communicate in everyday English conversations. This program focuses on practical daily conversation. In this class we will approach language learning through presentation, reinforcement, and expansion of communication forms and structures that promote the gradual but secure development of the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills gained in previous classes.
  2. Course Objectives
    The objectives of this course are: 1. Build upon English language skills that are (or should be) already existing for a level 3 course, 2. Introduce new elements of conversational English a student may encounter with a native English speaker, 3. Through in-class and out-of-class activities and assignments, increase fluency and confidence, 4. Develop the skills to begin, maintain and end a 'good' and 'proper' conversation with classmates and any English speaker in the future.
  3. Teachnig Method
    Class Rules are as follows: 1. Be respectful to classmates and lecturer 2. Be prepared (bring all necessary materials) and punctual (don't be late!) 3. Inappropriate language (foul language, curse words) in either Korean or English will NOT be tolerated. First offense is a warning, a second offense is a dismissal from the course

    Prerequisite for this course is a solid foundation in the basic grammatical rules of English and at least a intermediate level understanding of English speaking skills.
  7. Practical application of the course
    The entire purpose of this course is to furnish you, the student, with the knowledge and personal confidence that YOU can speak English given any given 'real world' situation and engage another speaker of English in a clear, meaningful, intelligent, well-mannered conversation.
