COMMUNICATION ENGLISH Ⅲ

  1. Course Description
This program is designed to give students the confidence and ability to communicate in everyday English conversations. This program focuses on practical daily conversation. In this class we will approach language learning through presentation, reinforcement, and expansion of communication forms and structures that promote the gradual but secure development of the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills gained in previous classes.
  2. Course Objectives
This is an English conversation course with the express aim of developing the student's spoken English skills. Starting from the first lesson, students will be encouraged to actively participate in class, following structures provided by the instructor, in order to develop their existing knowledge of English. By the end of the semester, students should feel more comfortable and at ease communicating in English.
  3. Teachnig Method
    1. Don't be late to class. Anyway more than 20 minutes late to class will be marked absent. Arriving late to class disrupts the class and is both rude and unfair to other students. 2. Bring your book, a notebook & pen/pencil to every class. 3. No use of phones for personal use. 4. Pay attention and work hard. 5. Finish your homework on time.

  6. Requiments
Students should be on time for class. If a student misses 10 classes they will be given an automatic 'F' grade. Each student should be prepared for class, which means bringing a textbook and pen/pencil to every class. All that is required of students is to show up, be on time, do what is asked of them - homework, assignments, etc., and to come in with a positive attitude towards developing their English. This class has been designed for students of higher level English-speaking ability, and all students who actively participate can get something out of it.
  7. Practical application of the course
As English is now the de facto common language used around the world in business, engineering, or other communication situations between different groups of nationalities, this course should prove beneficial in both professional and leisure activities, whether the student needs to communicate with a foreign business partner or just order a meal in a restaurant. The student should also feel more comfortable using English or dealing with foreigners after completing this course.
