INTRODUCTION TO TRADE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

  1. Course Description
    인터넷을 이용하여 수출 혹은 수입 업무를 수행하는 전자무역의 중요성이 크게 증가하고 있다. 전자무역은 초기에 단순한 무역 업무의 전산화에서 시작하여 현재는 시장조사에서부터 대금결제에 이르는 모든 무역 프로세스를 전자무역 플랫폼 상에서 수행하는 무역업무의 일대 혁신으로까지 그 개념이 확대되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 강의는 전자무역과 관련한 다양한 주제들에 대한 이해를 높이고 전자무역에 필요한 기반 및 요소기술에 대한 교육을 통해 미래 무역 인력으로서 갖추어야 할 기본적인 소양을 체득하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 전자무역과 관련한 최신 기술 및 시스템에 대한 이해와 함께 실습 과제 및 토론을 통해 실무 적용 능력을 높인다.
  2. Course Objectives
    Explain to students why information systems are so important today for business and management; • Evaluate the role of the major types of information systems in a business environment and their relationship to each other; • Assess the impact of the Internet and Internet technology on businesselectronic commerce and electronic business; • Identify the major management challenges to building and using information systems and learn how to find appropriate solutions to those challenges; • Define an IT infrastructure and describe its components; • Learn the core activities in the systems development process; • Cultivate skills and experience in the development and implementation of information systems projects.

    1. Respect self, others and learning environment. 2. Utilize time efficiently and stay on task. 3. Learn and be open to new learning. 4. Every day is a new day; don’t dwell on past mistakes. 5. Be responsible.- *It is up to you to get missed work and notes. * I will not chase after you to get missed tests or to make corrections. * Bring paper, pencils, erasers, etc. to every class. 6. Don't be absent more than 3 times without prior notice . 1 absent is OK, 3 absents is not OK. 7. Don't be late for class. 1 late is fine ,however more than 2 late will be consider 1 absent. 4 late will consider 2 absences. 8. Avoid using Cell phone or make-up in the class.

    Whole course would be taught in English , therefore make sure you are good at English. "Good" means you should have at least 5.5 IELTS score. If you do not have any score but you think you are capable of understanding , speaking , writing English then you are most welcome.
