INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS

이 과목은 국제무역론과 국제금융론을 이수하기 위한 선수 기초과목이며 국제경제에 대한 여러가지 이론과 실제를 이해하여 국제경제현상에 대한 폭넓은 시각을 가지게 하는 것이 주요 목표이다. 이 강좌는 국제무역과 금융의 기초를 포함한 국제경제에 대한 전반적인 것을 다루게 된다. 주요내용은 국가간 상품이동의 원리, 관세와 쿼타 등의 무역정책, 무역과 경제성장, 외환시장과 환율, 국제수지 등이다. 이 강좌를 이수하기 위해서는 선수과목으로서 경제원론의 수강이 필수적이다.

After taking this subject, students should be able
(1) to understand major international economics issues including some issues relating to exchange rates,
(2) to be equipped with basic tools for analysing those issues,
(3) to be able to participate the related debates.

Each week the first block will be primarily used for lecture purposes while the second half will be of multi-purpose.
The multi-purpose can be, as the name suggests, used for various purposes such as extending lectures, discussions, presentation, etc.

Students enrolled for this particular course are encouraged to participate in the class by reading prescribed materials.
Every student should be aware that plagiarism is an academic misconduct.

It can be effectively utilized for students to understand correctly how internaitonal economy including foreign exchange markets functions.
