COMPUTER SECURITY

  1. Course Description
    컴퓨터 및 네트워크 보안의 필요성 및 위협 요소를 다루고, 보안에 필요한 보안 메커니즘을 분석한다. 컴퓨터와 통신망이 통합되면서 보안의 중요성이 더욱더 강조되고 있는 상황을 유연하게 대처하기 위해 보안에 관한 기본 요소기술을 이해하는 수준의 내용을 다룬다.
  2. Course Objectives
    "After completion of the course, students should be able to: * Understand and explain the risks faced by computer systems and networks. * Identify and analyze security problems in computer systems and networks. * Explain how standard security mechanisms work. * Develop security mechanisms to protect computer systems and networks. * Write programs that are more secure. * Use cryptography algorithms and protocols to achieve computer security.
  3. Teachnig Method
    "Attendance: Students who have unexcused absences inlcuding over 10 sessions will receive an F in the class.

    Assignments are due on the date specified. Late assignments will be penalized 10% per day.

    Do your own work. Plagiarism (which includes copying someone else's assignment or having someone else do your work) will result in having the possible points for the assignment in question deducted from your total score and the administration will be notified. Repeat offenders will receive an F in the class."
