INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT(LECTURE IN ENGLISH)

This course will acquaint students with the functions, problems, and decision-making processes of multinational business organizations with regard to both formulation and the execution of business policy. Representative cases are used as a basis for discussions.

The main purpose of the course is to provide basic knowledge on the theories of international business and FDI, including the current environment of the world business. It has also covers various case studies of international management issues. My goals as the instructor of this course are to serve as a resource for you, to facilitate your learning process and your mastery of the course content (and thus, to encourage your success in the course), and to treat you with respect. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns about the learning environment in our class, I will be happy to address them with you during my office hours.

1. Lectures on the theories of international business and FDI 2. Presentations on the selected topics (once a week)

Each student’s course grade will be determined by the following factors: attendence, final and mod-term exams, and assignment.

•This course is appropriate for the students who want to pursue a study on the subject of international management, including foreign direct investment(FDI). Particularly, lectures will emphasize both theories and practical applications with an aim to help students understand international business environment.
