KOREAN BUSINESS AND ECONOMY

오늘의 한국은 전 세계의 사업과 경제에서 가장 중요한 나라들 중에 하나로 손꼽힌다. 한국의 사업과 경제를 공부하는 것은 매우 흥미롭고 경영인과 학문을 위해서도 매우 유용하다. 이 과목은 한국의 사업과 경제를 이해하고 기초적인 지식을 제공할 것이다. 이 과목의 주제들은 다른 아시아 나라들과 한국경제의 역할, 후반 위기시기와 1997년 재정적 위기 동안에 한국, 세계 경제, 경제발전을 위한 한국인 근로 교육들, 한국인 회사 복합기업들, 한국인 산업화 정책, 산업화 전 한국인, 세계 사업의 경제화 한국 사업의 중요한 역할, 오늘날 한국에서의 사업과 경제 이러한 내용들 소개를 포함한다. 한국경제: 이것이 새로운 호랑이 인가? 미래에 한국사업과 경제, 한국의 자유무역협정, 한국과 외국의 주요 동업자들 사이의 무역, 다른 나라 국가가 우리나라에 투자를 지향하고 있다.

The main objectives of this course are:
1. Expose students to the knowledge of Korean business and economy
2. Expose students to foreign trade and policy in Korea
3. Familiarize students with Korean management system
4. Familiarize students with global competitiveness and the Korean development model

Teaching methodologies will consist primarily of lectures which reinforce and expand upon the topics covered by the course textbook. There will also be opportunities for student participation each class. Group learning is emphasized, with students working in small groups of three or four preparing and presenting to the class a report in which they analyze in detail one of the topics covered in the course textbook.

1. Be familiar with the knowledge of Korean business and economy
2. Be familiar with the model of global competitiveness and the Korean development
3. Be familiar with Korean management system
4. Demonstrate developed research, analytical, and writing skills through formal case studies
5. Demonstrate proficiency in making oral presentations
