- Teachnig Method
Attendance at class is essential and unexcused absences detract from the class participation grade. Also, students are expected to be on time. If you are more than 5 minutes late to class, your attendance grade will be down. The overall quantity and quality of voluntary contributions to class discussion are also evaluated. The maximum number of points (5%) will be awarded to students who attend each class prepared to answer questions about the readings and who volunteer substantive contributions during each class meeting. During class, you are expected to discuss the reading materials based on the discussion questions generated by yourself and your classmates.
Make-Up Policy:
All assignments and quizzes must be completed as scheduled. Unless prior permission has been obtained, NO late or make-up assignments or tests will be accepted or given. Permission may be granted for those who contact the instructor prior to the scheduled date, and provide the instructor with valid documentation related to the absence either before or within two weeks after the absence. After two weeks, the documentation will not be accepted.
