The survey is a widely used research tool to collect information from general public or a specific group of people. Politicians and marketing divisions in many companies heavily rely on data produced by the survey method. This course is designed to give a full manual from the survey design to the data analysis. IR students should be familiar with the survey method in order to work in the field. This course will be a cornerstone for their future. 1. Let students have ability to design the survey. 2. Have students improve survey questions. 3. Help students to find the most appropriate sampling method 4. Help students to train interviewers 4. Make a foundation to analyze data.
