ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEM [ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEM]
In the business realm relevant information is important to stakeholders in order to formulate sound decisions. The accounting information system is a mechanism to attain the goal of providing relevant information. And in this regard, students must understand the importance of accounting information system in preparation for their future position in business. This course focuses on the use of information system in the accounting process. It will provide the students analytical tools to evaluate accounting information needed by the users, to evaluate and design information system to support business cycle.
